The Traffic Enforcement Unit consists of officers responsible for coordinating efforts focused on traffic safety for both motor vehicles and pedestrians traveling on the highways of the Borough. These officers are also responsible for reviewing all motor vehicle crash reports for proper format and serve as liaison with county and state traffic safety organization.

All requests for the installation of residential on‐street handicap parking spaces will be reviewed by the Traffic Enforcement Bureau with recommendations being forwarded to the Chief of Police.

Child Seat Installations are also conducted by trained officers of the Traffic Enforcement Unit.
